It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
We understand the growing concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) across our community, and our hearts go out to all those who’ve been impacted. As pet parents, we understand you may have specific questions about how to keep your pets and families safe. The Dog Stop is working to ensure we’re able to provide the products and services you need and to keep our customers, our employees, and the pets we love healthy and safe. Over the past week, we’ve received calls regarding the transmission between dogs and humans.
To date, there is no evidence that companion animals or pets can spread COVID-19 (per CDC guidance). For the latest information about coronavirus and pets, we encourage you to visit the links below:
We love our dogs, and we’re passionate about the care we provide to them in our facility and throughout their lives. This means that every day, as part of our regular operations, our store is cleaned and sanitized multiple times. Recently, we’ve increased the frequency of cleanings in our retail area, where our customers interact with our team. We will be providing hand sanitizer at our store for customers and handlers.
Furthermore, our team follows regular cleaning practices using a disinfectant formulated to kill coronavirus, among other germs. Our facility is cleaned with these products daily and in some cases, multiple times a day.
Some of our daily steps are below:
Cleaning and disinfecting all grooming tables, kennels, water/food bowls, daycare toys, and grooming tools.
Sanitizing and cleaning all surfaces and playrooms every night
Changing air filters every month to maintain clean, healthy air in our facility
This situation continues to evolve quickly, and we will be monitoring it closely. Based on current guidance and our own standards and practices, we will remain open for business and are committed to providing an outstanding experience for you and your dogs. While all services will remain fully operational, we have received word from several of our retail distributors that shipments may be delayed. We will do our best to keep our shelves stocked, but there may be some temporary shortages over the next few weeks.
With so many clients temporarily working from home, we understand that daycare needs may change. In an effort to adjust to our clients’ needs, many of our awesome staff members have offered to help us accommodate additional pick-up and drop-off daycare requests, as well as in-home dog walking appointments. If you and your family are not showing symptoms and feel that either of these options better fit your current needs, please contact your usual Stop so we can get you on the schedule. We will try our best to accept all requests, but we appreciate you understanding that our availability for these services is limited.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to continuing to serve you.
