With summer right around the corner and vacation season soon underway, get a head start booking your four-legged friend’s overnight boarding reservation at The Dog Stop® before it gets too late! Summer reservations fill up fast, so take advantage of booking early in April and May.
Here are some summer boarding tips and guidelines from your friends at The Dog Stop®.
Book Now! Some vacationers plan their trips a year in advance while others are scoping out last minute getaways in June. No matter when you book your vacation, it’s best to book a dog reservation right away. Booking right away not only gives you better odds of reserving a spot, it also lets you focus on other things – like booking your snorkeling trip!
Preparing your Dog. Let Max partake in a few days at The Dog Stop’s Doggie Daycare, and allow him to get him acquainted with the dogs and staff members. Max’s transition from his bed at home to a few nights room and board at The Dog Stop® will be a smoother one.
Match Makers. At The Dog Stop®, all of our canine friends have the option of undergoing a temperament evaluation. This allows us to introduce him or her to playmates that match their temperament and activity levels.
Vaccinations are required. Think of your dog’s vaccinations as its passport to The Dog Stop®. If you can’t provide them, unfortunately, the dog can’t stay. Any reputable boarding facility requires vaccination records for the safety of their staff and guests. All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper (often listed at DAPP or DHLPP), Bordetella, and on a flea/tick preventative.
The Dog Stop® is a highly recommended boarding facility that provides personalized attention, ample playtime, and comfortable accommodations. You can trust we will strive to ensure your dog is comfortable and happy during his stay. We also offer doggie daycare and grooming & spa services!
