Behavioral training, also known as behavior modification, is geared to tackle your pup’s many behavioral issues. This type of training is ideal for canines that already show behavioral problems but have the ability to unlearn them.
There are many approaches to behavioral training. It all depends on what bad behaviors your dog exhibits and what may be the causes. For example, if your puppy is biting at everything, you can train them by using chew toys and some exercises, as well as applying Crate Training.
Applying obedience training at a young age may decrease the chance of developing behavioral problems.

Today was our rescue dogs first day at The Dog Stop and I couldn’t have been more pleased! One of our dogs, Mac, was terrified when we left – huddled in the corner while his sister was out mingling with the other dogs (but staying very close to the area Mac was in). I watched via Web cam later on how they took the time to section off the other dogs, coax him out, and slowly started inducing other dogs to him, a few at a time. By the time we went to pick them back up, they were having a blast and in full tail wag mode! I’m so grateful they took the time to try to help them transition into being around other dogs – we can’t wait to take them back again!

Shelly and Echo love the dog stop! My husband and I have never tried a “doggie daycare” before, and it took us a long time to take the leap to test it out. I’m so happy we did. The quality and care the staff put into the dogs and interacting with us is amazing! Shelly, the one in the comments has always been hesitant and pretty shy around people. The staff at the dog stop have been amazing at working with her and even went out of their way to let me know that she’s been improving. These dogs are my world and I’m so happy that they get such great care here!

I can’t say enough on how great the south hills dog stop is. It all comes down to the ladies they have working there, they are amazing! They are great with our fur baby and very customer friendly too. Our dog has been going there since he was 4 months old he is now 2 years old, he loves it.

I am so happy with the Dog Stop! We recently left our 2 dogs there for over a week, which we have never done, although they did visit the Dog Stop for day care and an overnight once before hand to prepare them, which was great! The staff is friendly, helpful, willing to work with my sometimes stubborn Corgi, my guys looked so happy every time I checked in on them on the video feed! I am so happy I found a worry free place to leave my guys! Highly recommend, they are in good hands!

We recently took our dog Bellatrix to the Dog Stop for a week while we were on vacation. Unfortunately, our dog got very sick while there (ingested toy piece at home and got sick while there) but the staff at the Dog Stop were excellent at communication and caring for our dog. We could not thank them enough for everything and how it all was handled!!!! We love the Dog Stop and will return for playdate in the future!! Thanks again so much!!! Special shout out to Jane and Mary who called with updates several times!
