“Best daycare/boarding place I’ve ever experienced. I just moved to the area and I have four dogs and I have been taking them to daycare and boarded them a few times too. The owner and staff treat me and my dogs like family and are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Manager Cathy goes above and beyond to make sure all my pups are well cared for. The place is so clean and smells like a hotel lobby. They also sell amazing high end food products that are often on sale! In addition they have live cams to watch your pups play which was not always available at other places I’ve been to. I can’t say enough about this place. If I could give them a ten star review I would!! Thank you all for taking such good care of my squad!!”

– Kholoud Zaman – Rosco, Baley, Sasha, Tiny

“Very pleased! We went with the VIP luxury option, where our dogs could stay together and not go to group play. We loved being able to watch them on camera in their room. At pick-up, they seemed in great shape and happy. We had excellent feedback on how they did during their stay. The facility is very clean and not overwhelming. We plan to book again on our next trip.”

– Leslie Bloxam – Milou, Bing

“First time boarding Pebbles at Dog Stop and we are so happy that we did! Staff noticed the Pebbles was off her feeding and called to discuss her care which provided us with comfort of knowing that she was being well looked after. Each day we would log into the web cam to see how she was doing which gave us that extra warm fuzzy that Pebbles was doing well.”

– Sherrie Melton – Pebbles

“Katie has been cutting our Cockapoo’s hair since day one, 8 years. She does a great job with him especially as he is quite nervous. She provides her recommendations and he looks wonderful leaving the place. It’s quite easy setting up appointments at Dog Stop and the staff is great with him.”

– Kristi O – Tucker

“This is my dogs 2nd home. The amount of love they give Paris is incredible. We were very skeptical with doggy day care as we had a bad experience with it already but The Dog Stop completely proved us wrong. They treat every single dog there like one of their own. We now have to beg Paris to leave everytime we pick her up as she doesn’t want to leave everyone at the dog stop! I recommend this place to every dog owner that I encounter. I truly thank everyone at The Dog Stop for loving Paris just as much as I do.”

FAQs

What are your daycare & boarding requirements?

All dogs participating in daycare must demonstrate appropriate social skills and the ability to play safely with other dogs. During their first day and/or their first overnight stay at The Dog Stop®, we will evaluate your dog’s interactions with other guests. If we find your dog isn’t an appropriate fit for daycare, they will be separated from other canine guests for the remainder of their stay with regular one-on-one staff time, potty breaks and play sessions. Before dog boarding and/or daycare, you must provide proof that the following vaccinations are current: Bordetella, Parvovirus & Distemper, and Rabies. Puppies must have all three distemper boosters. We also require that your dog is on a regular flea and tick prevention program, such as Frontline or Advantage or wearing a Seresto Collar (no flea powder). Dogs over seven (7) months must be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare.

Do you have cameras?

Yes! All our dog daycare rooms are equipped with cameras so you can rest easy knowing your dog is being well cared for right from your phone or computer.

What happens if I cannot drop off or pick up my dog during The Dog Stop® business hours?

We will do our best to honor client special requests, although additional costs may apply. Tardiness that is not arranged for in advance may be subject to a one dollar per minute fee at the sole discretion of Management.

What happens over the holidays?

The Dog Stop® is closed to the public on all major holidays including but not limited to New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We are still staffed to care for your pups during this time, we will just not be operating for dog daycare, grooming, or boarding pick-ups and drop-offs.

The Dog Stop® will have regular hours of operation on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

When and what will my dog(s) be fed?

We always suggest that you bring your dog’s food with you from home to limit any digestive upset they may experience by changing their diet. You can provide their food in individually portioned containers or bags. Write down the instructions on how much and how often they are fed right on the bag or container. If food is not provided, your dog will be fed our House dog kibble at no additional cost. Dogs will be fed in the morning and evening unless otherwise requested by the Owner.

Do you administer medications?

Yes. We administer medications (pills, ointments, etc.) on a case-by-case basis. Just provide the medication and instructions at drop-off. If your dog has had a recent major medical issue, we may require a release from your vet before he is allowed to return to dog daycare or boarding.

Do I get a discount if I have multiple dogs?

Yes! We provide a discount for any additional dog. See pricing above for multiple dog discounts.

Am I able to tour the facility before purchasing services?

Yes! Stop in during our regular business hours and we’d be happy to give you a tour of the facility!
